Fat Man Walking

Sort of ala-forest-gump. Steve Vaught decided that being fat sucks and would walk the weight off, now! Steve is/has been walking his way from his home in Oceanside, CA to New York City, NY for the last couple of months. As of this post is now in Edmond Oklahoma.

As you can expect, lots of foot blisters and other injuries can occur when you decide your going to walk from one end of the Country to the other. His web site (below) documents his journey.

Interesting idea, I really would have liked to hitch hike, bike, motorcycle or something similiar across the US myself before settling down to the 9 to 5. Maybe when I retire or hit the lottery.
