What do you mean cell phones don’t work underwater?
My wife is a special woman, a super-woman if you will. She amazes me at how well she can balance so many social, personal and business tasks daily.
BUT and I do not want this to sound like just another guy thing, but she really has a problem with this last item. She can not keep any electronic or mechanical items in good working condition for any decent length of time. Cars, TV remotes, home phones, computers have all succumbed to early problematic troubles. These items stopped working far before their expected life cycles in other words.
The biggest mechanical problem lately has been cell phones, all have meet an early grave at her hand. Not just 1 or even 2, but 4 cell phones in the last 6 months have all died in suspicious situations.
Here Shirley lists out the causes of demise.
Phone #1 – Dropped into the toilet when I had it in my back pocket (yes, the toilet was full of peepee)!
Phone #2 – While making the bed the phone flew off the bed, and straight into a glass of water (mind you, it was Bill’s glass of water, so technically it was not my fault)!
Phone #3 – Bill says I dropped it at the Rodeo Drive Swap Meet, I think that I was pick pocketed!
Phone #4 – During the heavy rain storm yesterday I stumbled out of the car and my purse flew, and my phone ended up in the GUTTER (went floating like a river rafter)!
I’m on the look out for a water-proof, drop-proof maybe even bullet-proof phone for Shirley. Any recommendations are welcomed, just leave a comment below.
I almost forgot to mention, my daughter is killing a phone at a rate of 1 every 6 to 8 months too.
Just for the heck of it, I thought I would take a quick poll of how long before you thought Shirley would go before she drowned another phone. Please cast your vote below.
