Throttled by Netflix?

A series of articles permiated the web the first week of February 2006 asking the question, “Does Netflix penalize certain high volume customers?”

I am happy with my Netflix, in fact I love it. But I know in the past and at this very moment Netflix is not releasing the movies in my queu as quickly as they could. Like clockwork I have sent my movies in and within 1 – 2 days the movies are returned and another one is in the mail to me within 1 day. Some returns have been delayed as much as 10 days after I know that movie should have been in the hands of receiving at Netflix. Sparodic but occuring enough that it just doesn’t seem to be random. This frustrates me sometimes because this can interfere with my weekends when I enjoy watching a movie or two the most.

Will I stop using Netflix? Unlikely – I still get alot of movie for my money and the service is excellent aside from this.
