Chelsea’s Birthday

My daughters’ birthday parties have become something of a event. Not just a family event but a big social event around her friends and friends of friends. I like to do my part to set the mood for the party. This year I took the opprotunity to incorporate my love for photography into the party invites with a photoshoot. With a little help from my good friend and fellow photographer Dave, we setup a studio at my home. Many thanks to Dave for his excellent lighting and some really good suggestions during the shoot.

The theme of the photoshoot and the party started off with more of a 50’s pinup girl style but after some last minute changes the layout of the invitations turned into more of a contemporary party flyer.

Below is the final front and back of the invite. Printed on card stock and UV coated gave the invites the finished look.
