Blanket Punk - for all us rebels to enjoy

Where have I been for the last week you ask? Well I have been keeping busy building my wife’s new e-commerce web site, BlanketPunk.com. She makes these great retro motif fleece blankets and after many requests for her blankets from friends and strangers alike has decided to go into business.

Shirley, aka the wife, is always surprising me with just how creative she is as you can see in the product photo below. Some of you might recognize Chelsea, aka the daughter, in the product photo of one of Blanket Punks comfy blankets. Product photos are always easier when you have a live-in-model always availble at a moments notice.

Most of the time was spent on optimizing for search engines and ease of use for what I am calling BlanketPunk.com v.05. The next iteration will be aesthetically more pleasing while still maintaining a high level of customer ease of use. The work is in the details, capturing users attention is tough enough without losing those potential customers to poor or difficult navigation so time was devoted to simplifying the site as much as possible.
