DIY SD300 Error E18 Fix

My daughter’s Canon SD-300 in a bunch of little pieces. I decided to take it apart to fix the E18 error that rendered the camera useless. Figured I couldn’t do too much worse to it. Or so I thought… this is going to be a bit more time consuming than I originally expected.

For comparison, I was able to easily replace the broken LCD screen on this camera in less than 30 minutes, already I have spent about 2 hours just taking it apart and cleaning the lens.

And for the Pièce de résistance – *I can’t remember how to put it back together!*
