Out with the old in with the used

The Old

It was time for this old beast to be put out to pasture. Original Mac Powerbook G4/500 TI, oh she was such a powerhouse in the beginning but in the last year or two has only been used for web surfing and email. The battery would only last 15mins so it stayed tethered to the cord all the time and never left my desk.

This also marks another turning point in my life… I am replacing the Mac with a brand spanking new Dell 1720 Inspirion 17″. Wasn’t an easy choice since I have had nothing but Macs for the last 8 years; 8700, 9600, G3, G4, G3 and G4 Powerbooks.

And the used

Just got this yesterday off eBay. Adding to the stable. Not sure if my photos will get any better but taking them sure is more fun.
